BSJA Area 51 Junior Academy
I am sending this to let you all know what is being organised for 2010 up until June.
Please look on the www.bsja-area51.co.uk website under junior academy for updates and 2010 membership forms.
You do not have to be a BSJA member to join the academy. We welcome all keen young riders up to 18 years of age. Non members pay £1 more per session to attend after the first taster session.
There will be ridden sessions taken by your area coach Claire Rushworth. There will be subsidised places for Academy members on training courses. Details of these places are on the website under training.
Monday 12 April sessions at Colraine around a course of jumps preparing for the summer season. £25 per member.
Saturday 01 May Claire will be at the Club show to help members. The sessions will only be for Academy members who have attended a training session throughout the Winter months. The help will be paid for by the Area Committee out of the academy funds. Claire will walk the course with you, help you warm up and give feedback following your rounds. This still needs to be booked on the booking form but there is no charge. If the weather is really bad we will arrange another day for this.
Monday 24 May at Gwealavellan a training session around a course of jumps. Bookings please cost for this session £20.
The Devon Academy Camp at Bicton is getting booked up with only 20 spaces left. The dates this year are 19th to 21st August – deposits for this to Mandy Frost area 50 rep. Her details can be found on the Area 51 website in the academy section. This is a great event over 3 days and well worthwhile attending.
Hoping to hear from you all
Val
